Converge 200 Gideon men and women on the New York City metropolitan area
Place 100,000+ Testaments and Bibles
Present Gideon reports in 30 churches
Engage people with quality spiritual Conversations while sharing God's Word
Encourage and grow the NYC Gideons and Auxiliary membership
Reach New York City for Jesus Christ

The Opportunity

New York City has proven to be an exciting place for scripture distribution

There are 700,000 school students in grades 5 thru 12
There are 500,000 college students
There are 240 major hospitals and nursing homes with 80,000 beds
There are major prisons with over 100,000 inmates
There are more than 34,000 police, and 12,000 Auxiliary police
There are 220 fire companies with over 10,000 firefighters and 3,600 EMTs

The people are open and willing to receive the Word of God
. . . and eager to experience eternal life through Jesus Christ.
